Yes. In Korea, alkaline water ionizers are medical devices regulated by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety. JINNYS manufactures MEDIQUA under medical device manufacturing license No. 4818; the approved indication is improving four gastrointestinal symptoms (chronic diarrhea, indigestion, abnormal intestinal fermentation and hyperacidity).

No. Acidic water is for external use, such as face washing and cleaning dishes, cutting boards, fruit and vegetables. Choose alkaline ionized water or purified water for drinking.

Filter life depends on the model — for example, AK-9000 is 4,000 L (1st) and 8,000 L (2nd), and CREWELTER is 3,200 L (1st) and 6,400 L (2nd). It varies with water quality and use; CREWELTER and AK models show filter status on screen.

Countertop units connect to the tap with a diverter valve; under-sink units sit below the sink with a dedicated faucet. Contact us for the right setup for your kitchen.

Please call our service center first (+82-41-558-9777). Defects in performance or function during the warranty period are repaired free of charge, or the product is exchanged if it cannot be repaired.

In Korea, delivery takes 2–6 days after payment and is free (an extra KRW 6,000 for Jeju and islands). International orders ship by FedEx, DHL or EMS, with costs varying by country.
